Create your own sunshine. Put in a story tape and ignore the outdoors. Stay inside~ warm with your memories of beautiful springs, warm summers, cool falls and snowy winters! Enjoy your day!

Something to Consider!

Good Morning!

As I write this to you, I have no way of knowing what is happening in each of your lives. One of you maybe in jeopardy of losing your job, or one (or more) may have the desire to stay home with your children instead of sending them to daycare, or maybe one of you would like to get out of house more for sometime for your self.

What I DO know is that Creative Memories has helped to fill so many expected and UN- expected needs in my life. As you read this think of the needs in your life and how Creative Memories could help you achieve goals you have in your lives.

Do you love to scrapbook? Do you have friends and family who love to scrapbook? If so then you may want to become a Creative Memories Consultant. This is a great way to get your supplies and products at a discounted (30% less than retail) and sell the products to your friends and family (they want it anyway right?!) and keep yourself in business.

Right now it only takes only $50.00 to become a consultant.Really an excellent and minimal investment to start your own business! Where it goes from there is determined by you, your goals, and needs! But the more you put into it the more you will get out of it!

In addition to helping your self you can help me, I have the opportunity to win a family vacation this summer. I need three activated ( placed their qualifying order) by the end of April to earn this vacation. So even if you just try it out for a couple of months it would help me plus you can get products at cost. This is a win-win for both of us.

If you know of anyone who may be interested, please forward this email on to them.

Here are some details, but please let me know if you have any questions!

If you should decide to become a consultant, the $50 get you the Business Starter Kit that includes business building materials, such as, order forms, catalogs, tips on products and Get Togethers. When you sign your agreement you are agreeing to placing your qualifying order in your first 90 days. (I am hoping that you would agree to do it before April 30th as this will help me qualify for my family vacation.) This is a $500 order which cost to you would be $350.00. This doesn't have to be done in one order you can break it out in two or three orders.

Think about it and let me know what you decide.

To Get Started

If you should decide to become a consultant you can simply sign your consultant agreement online at my websitewww.mycmsite.com/colleenluginbuhl. Simply click on "Join My Team" in the options bar at the top portion of the main page.

Thanks for taking the time to read and consider this!

Tuesday Workshop

Just a reminder that Naomi W. will be hosting a workshop Tuesday from 9-4. All are invited, please just call me to let me know if you can make it! Thanks!

Here is a page layout that was created on Storybook 3.0, using the Cottage Garden Content Collection. I also did this page (and the others that go along with it..) using the Auto populate feature on Storybook 3.0. I have done that 2 times now and I really like how it has worked out. I first select my pictures in Memory Manager and then "share" them into Storybook it will give me the option to create a new project or add to the current project. I then chose the option to Auto-populate my pages using the pictures I just imported. It then fills the pre-designed pages you have selected by date and time order. I highly recommend giving this a try. You may have to make minor adjustments but it saves alot of time!

Idea for Everyday Display Board

Thanks to Carole B for submitting these ideas that she did on her NEW Everyday Display Board, she earned as a host of the Snowman Workshop in January.

Vellum expression says: A baby boy has a special way of adding joy in every single day.

Vellum expression says: There is nothing like the blessing of a bouncing baby boy. He'll fill your home with energy and touch your heart with joy. He'll hug you and bug you and try you within. But each precious memory you'll treasure again and again.

Thanks to Eli for being an adorable model! :)

Hope you enjoy your "warm" day today because it looks like more snow is on the way! AHHH!

Regional Meeting

I had a wonderful day last Saturday at the Regional meeting in Springfield! Thanks to Katie, Kay and Naomi for taking the time to come with me! It was so exciting to see the new products launched!

The Simply Beautiful Power Palette is just that... simply beautiful. Vibrant colors, beautiful letters, impressive sticker embellishments. It includes matching paper ribbons, paper flowers, and paper tags.
The new power sort box is now ONE box, a just right size, which holds 1200 photos, and includes the same memorabilia pocket inside the cover. It also has a beautiful design on the cover.
The new record-able paper album kit is beautiful and is a wonderful gift to brighten someone's day or to send a message to those far away. It can hold up to a 20 second message.

I will be showing these new items at Kara's workshop on Saturday. I will also have a SALE table that includes, paper, stickers and other items. I hope you can stop by to see the new products and to check out the sale table.

Hope to see you soon!

Digital and Traditional Tips of the Week

To enable the thumbnails of your photos in your media library to come up faster..........

Click on the Welcome Page in MM 3.0. Check that you have clicked on a vault then...

Click on "Show me more details"

Click on "Support"

Change maximum space for thumbnails to 1000MB (probably set on 50). If you don't have a lot of space on your computer, you might need to put it on 500-750MB. This will enable your thumbnails of your photos to come up MUCH FASTER!!!!

Emptying the Recycle Bin with your deleted photos can free up used space!

Did you know that when you "delete" photos from your memory vault in 3.0 that they are really still in a recycle bin?? Well, I didn't either. This is good news in case you accidentally delete something! You can go back and get it. You just need to remember to empty it on a regular basis. Click on "See recycle bin" - on the same page that you just adjusted your thumbnails. Then click "delete items".If you want to restore some items from the recycle bin, go to the Vault ribbon in your Media Library and click on "undelete items".

Every Friday Morning Starting March 1st-

Every Friday Morning Starting March 1st until June 11th, I will be holding 1/2 Day Workshops here in my Dining Room. They run from 9-12 the fee for these is only $5.- There are a few dates that it won't be held due to vacations or previous commitments ( April 23rd and 30th). I hope that you can come on a regular basis and this helps you all get more pages completed.

And because I have heard that a post isn't fun without pictures........

And the winner is.......

And the Winner is...

Here is a 2 page spread that I completed yesterday. The vellum quote on the first page reads: Children are living jewels dropped unsustained from heaven. The right side page reads "all his jewels, precious jewels. This is Anderson at about 1.5 months. old.

If anyone would like to share their pages they have completed just take a picture and send it to me, I would be happy to post them! We are all looking for new ideas!

Oh.. back to the winner..... Thanks to all who participated in the Snow Day Challenge yesterday. There were 55 pages completed! Wahooo! Way to go! .... and now the winner..... DEB HOFFMAN! Congratulations Deb! You have won a $50 Product Certificate. Call me with the goodies you would like to pick out.

Have a splendid day everyone!

Its a Snow Day Challenge

Happy Snow Day Everyone!-

Because most of us are couped up in our homes today and many of us have children home from school, why not take advantage of this and get some scrapbooking done. For every 2 sides you complete your name will be entered for a chance to win $50.00 in free products. Do you need a new album or other supplies? Remember that the more you get completed, the more chances for you to win the free products. This is for traditional scrapbooking and digital scrapbooking. For those of us with small children, you are probably thinking how can I do this with them home? Well we all have extra pictures that we don't use in our books, instead of throwing them out why not give your children the pictures and some paper and stickers and let them create right beside you. Yesterday at my workshop Landon did a small album and is so proud of his completed book. Wade is bugging me to get one started this morning! They love pictures too! So get start and get counting! Email or call with the number of pages completed by 9:00 tonight and the winner will be announced tomorrow! Have fun and HAPPY SCRAPPING!

Digital and Traditional Tips of the Week

Digital Tip:

How to "rip" your digital paper: Add selected paper to your work area. Go to Cut and Fill tab, click on the arrow below the straight option, it will bring up several different choices for cutting the edge of the paper. Select Paper Rip, this will bring up a options box that will allow you to choose how big of a tear you will see and how "random" the rip will look. I usually choose the option on the left side that says 'Cut around the shaded area'. This will give you two pieces of ripped paper to work with.

Traditional Tip: When using the Precision Piont Adhesive, it is helpful to have a damp paper towel to wipe away any of the "seepage" between your two pieces of paper/ embellishments.

Regional Speaker

Just wanted you all to know that Joyce Kloter, (my Upline) is speaking at Regionals in Chicago this Saturday. It is really exciting for her to be asked to have a 10 minute speech. She is talking about doing the things that fill our balloons and not focusing on the things that deflate our balloons. I wish I could be there but it didn't work out. I will be attending our local Regional meeting next Saturday the 13th. I will see the new catalog and products launched. I look forward to some more digital training and other tips that Creative Memories has for me. I will update everyone after the 13th.
